i'm pretty sure its just body styling thats different between the 2. i also heard there is no performance difference engine wise between the RSX Type S and RXS Type R. i think it has a stiffer suspension and just the body styling.

Talking rsx type R has 220

Actually the RSX type R has 220hp, the SCC swapped in a civic si for an rsx typeS engine with 200hp.

So the base rsx 160 hp = the civic si 160hp engine
the rsx type S 200hp = the civic type R 200hp engine
the rsx type R has 220hp

There has been some speculation that Acura may import the Type R version of the RSX sometime soon. Already available in Japan (where it's still called the Integra), the Type R features a 220-horsepower version of the current 2.0-liter engine, enhanced suspension tuning and larger wheels and tires.

sorry if I sound like a smart ***

Yeah, fun to play with. Gear box is awesome, driving position is good, brakes respond immediately although not strongly, tyres seem **** (started melting after my 10 mile test drive ). I will pick it up on Wednesday Just to get around town.
So your EVO will mostly be a track/weekend car from now on?
