SPOTTED! Hot Red Acura NSX
I work @ a neurologist office and part of the perks working in a city that is filled with 3 hospitals and over 120types of doctors is the car's they drive. Ive seen pretty much everything out there. Today I was dropping off christmas gifts from my boss to other doctors with the biller when I saw this NSX. Ive seen an orange one in LA traffic earlier this year, but I couldnt get a real glimpse of it. This one was just parked and I only took 2 photos before the guy drove off. This guy must have bank, because I always see his silver porshe in that same parknig spot, and his wife drives a black jaguar. My biller (who isnt into cars) couldnt understand why somebody would pay 89k for such a bleek car. I explained to him the info on the car and he just laughed and said, "I would never pay 89k for a honda"
.
I don't know I like it, bu I would never pay 89k for a semi-luxary honda.
P.S. pics taken w/ camera phone...

what? this car could compete with porsche 911 in handling and daily drivability.
You're crazy if you think this car is slow.
We have a guy in AL with n/a engine that's completely stock internal with few bolt ons doing low 12's.
This car has the potential for 9 second if you really desire to.
There is a TT NSX in Dallas or CA, that does 9.8 second 1/4 mile and sounds like a beast.
If they improve the interior quality and up the HP a bit (the plan for a V8 failed for the new model NSX) it could be a super bargan of a super car.
That's what I believe. Anyone who's driven it will not forget the riding height of this car. It rides on the street level, where you feel like you're driving on the floor of the road.

There are a couple of nice ones in the Boston, MA area. I love the look of them, but i wouldn't want to buy one.. it just seems too expensive for me, i'd rather go evo... I like the red color though, reminds me of a ferrari or something
yeah im sure it is capable of 9's. almost any car is with the right amount of money. and im sure there is a guy in AL with a few bolt ons that runs 12's. my 30K evo can run 12's and i have a few bolt ons too. different strokes for different folks. sure it has potential. i didnt say its a slow car i said stock its pretty slow. stock 1/4 is what high 13's/low 14's??? sorry but for an 80K car that doesnt cut it in my opinion. i dont want to spend 80K on a car cause it "has good ride height."

I love the NSX. Is this a faster car than my TT? Yes. Is it faster than the EVO/STi or some other cars? I guess not.
Does that mean this is a crappy car? I strongly disagree. I have driven EVOs, STi's, E46 M3s and other newer sport cars and I still think the NSX is a very capable car. The dynamic and the overall feel is so solid and refined that I cannot find it in an EVO/STi. The involvement that I have is much better than an E46 M3.
If I want an insanely fast car, I could get something else. If I want chicks, I wouldn't even touch the NSX since most of the girls don't know what it is. I have never seen a thread about "I picked up chicks in my bling bling NSX tonight....". I think any older Ferrari/Porsche will do a better job in that area and you could get them cheaper than the NSX.
For the same budget, one can easily get an EVO/STi, and don't have to worry about depreciation since mosts NSXs will worth ~85-90% of its current value for in the next couple years.
Overall, I love most cars and each of them has its strength/weaknesses. It all comes down to personal preference...
