I know alot of us who came over to EVO's are prior DSM owners. The very first car I ever saw in a show room was a white Eagle Talon TSI AWD. I used to own a 2G, but deep down I wanted a 1G. Well I finally found one. I am in the process of refurbing it with a couple twists. It's gonna be my daily driver. 26K on the EVO in one year is way too much.

Anyway I am waiting on a engine rebuild kit from MACH V so while I was waiting I decided to start on the interior. Here are some pics.

looks nice, i am halfway looking for one as well, having never owned one before my evo, if that is a dsm. i just think that i could get one, and get a little bit more comfortable on gravel roads before i take the evo out. i know of a first gen for sale in my town. not sure though, and i dont really need it. congrats, and good luck. keep us posted.

 

My buddy has a 1G that I'm sure he'd be happy to sell. '92 Eagle Talon non-turbo. blown engine. Damanged side panels (spun off road and slid it against a tree). One of the rear brackets that holds the rear axle in place rusted through, so the rear wheels kinda shimmy around.

C'mon, you know you want it.

 

um, why would I want a non turbo if I'm working on an AWD Turbo ??? hmmmm
