They actually have a pretty good crash rating.

I had a friendly dealer. They were very mod friendly. They installed all my mods and the warranty remained intact. I had a pulley reduction etc...

I'm 6'2" 220 lb and thought the Cooper was a very good fit. Granted the seat was such that nobody would ever be able to sit behind me.
