haha, i remember pulling up to a viper at a toll on a highway and I WAS DRIVING A ****IN DODGE CARAVAN (w/ 3.3 150 hp may i add because i was on a road trip) but anyways, i was like keeping up to him until he realized i was in his way and then he pushed down on his accel. pedal haha. it was pretty damn funny and made me realize how much of a monster that car is

Old folks shouldn't be ALLOWED to drive them. Urgh. I hate people with monster (or just really expensive) sports cars, who don't utilize what they have. (read: i'm hella jealous) And as cliche as I think the Viper is, those things still turn me on, I'd take one in a minute. tho not by itself. Useless for ANYTHING except pleasure cruises in good weather. and I'd hafto clean it every-other day living in Boulder.

 

I've driven a viper and I'll tell you what...

I'll keep my "slow azz" Lancer OZ... The viper was the worst car I've ever driven... Sure its super fast but no fun to drive... They handle like dog poo and that's no to mention how big of a pain they are to get in and out of. On top of that.. You have to be well over 6ft to get the seat in a good postion to drive... I'm about 5'10" and I had to push the seat so far forword that the stearing wheel was in my chest and my feet steal barely touched the pedals... and then to get out I had to push the seat back again because the door was behind me...lol.

I just think its too much money for a car that is crap to drive... sure its fast but so are alot of other cars that are fun on the road...

Hah.I agree. I am not a fan of Vipers, I think they are one of the most overrated junks.

 

i was on i-295 a couple of months ago in my buddy's mustang gt. 2 vipers (gt coupe and rt/10) were right in front of us. we rolled up next to them and started jumping. both of them tore out like a bat out of hell. we were going 80+mph before they went and both of them spun their tires. we tried to keep up but that was pointless. i love vipers.

 

the Viper will continue to be my favorite car until someone can show me something better, it handles rough because it has the ability to power out of curves which if you know what you're doing is very fun

and I could go down to the strip on the weekend and use it to get some money

 

Yeah I punched my car by a Ferrari F355 and the guy opened it up all the way. That engine sounded like music. He hit 2nd gear and was gone. Just saw the round tailights in the distance. Must be cool to be rich.

 

My dads buddy has Ferrari F40 and he said that car will **** and get. They got it up to 125mph before hitting the end of the entrance ramp for the highway. My dad should have packed a change of underwear.
