OK, so here's the deal..... My little brother drives a 94 accord ex automatic, , but it is new to him. Anyway, he's been killing the motor a lot when it is in idle. So they have replaced spark plugs, ignition wires, got the whole tune up from a long time family friend/mechanic. Anyway, the idle has gotten a lot better but still dies in idle some times. Finally, they suggested replacing the "throttle body positioning sensor"(what my parents told me) which is typically not sold by itself, but rather with the whole throttle body. My questions are:

Does anyone know where I could find one of these, new or used, for a fairly low price?

Do I have to get the whole throttle body assembly?

Will this solve the problem? If not, what will?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help my little brother out people..... he needs this problem fixed asap so he can get to classes.

try your local junkjards. They should have these in stock since there are a lot of Accords out there on the roads.

 

but will it fix the problem? that is my main reason for posting this....
