yeah, I definitely like the first gen IS300 better. Not offering the IS350 with AWD and a manual tranny is a huge mistake. However, I wouldn't doubt if they sell a sport edition, similar to AMG, later down the road.

 

i wonder how much boost it can hold? i rather like the looks... it'd definitely grow on me more as time wears on... probably looks much better in person than in pics like the evo does

 

i was just reading about the new gs series that has available AWD, why dont they make a IS 430 w/ AWD, like someone said. or at least give the new IS and AWD option, apparentely they have the technologie to do it. what gives lexus?

 

1. Lexus wants the IS 350 to be a very sporting car, thus no AWD (saves weight, RWD is more pure).
2. Lexus will sell AWD to mostly snow states.
3. A coupe/convert is coming next year.
4. The IS 350 will make over 300hp, I hear 325.
5. In Europe, it finally gets a diesal!

This car will seriously challange the 3 on all aspects.
