2003 Yamaha R6 exhaust question

I have had my aftermarket muffler on my bike now for 1,000 miles and I have noticed that there is no carbon deposits on the outside of it. There isn't even any carbon inside the muffler... I never tuned the ECU for the muffler is it running to lean? I know you have to have them tuned even if you add an air filter. People said you can get away without tuning it for the muffler and mid pipe. Everything else is stock.

I had a 2003 R6 and as long as you just have a slipon exhaust you shouldn't have to do anything to the ECU.

Oh ok that's what I heard. It's the stock header, with a slipon. I just noticed there is no carbon AT ALL not even in the muffler. You can rub your finger in the muffler and it doesn't get dirty. LOL Very efficent fuel burning. The evo is a different story blowing soot all over the bumper.
