summer vehicle?

I'm looking for a vehicle to take me too and from camgrounds this summer.

A few requirements:

AWD or 4WD
Decent ground clearance
cheap to repair
no more than $500

so far, I'm looking at a Subaru Brat, or a '73 Chevy.

Also, anyone know how much a replacement clutch would be for an '86 Isuzu Trooper? I could pick one up for $100 if I want to replace the clutch.

Got any suggestions?

I think your best bet would be an older pickup. At $500 though, it's tough to be picky.

Why do you want "cheap to repair"? If something breaks, you should just replace the entire vehicle with another cheap one.
