Awesome. Co-coworker told me of a similar tale of one of his friends with N2O on his vette where the juice pooled up in the intake manifold, ignited and blew it right through the hood. Probably the same thing that happened here.

yep... it happens a lot of the time with ppl with wet-kits instead of directports and dry kits... intake manifolds are designed to flow air, not liquid... so it can pool up... dry kits don't make the monster power shots, but, are the safest as N2O isn't combustable until it's combined with fuel... so, only place for it to do that, is in the chamber...
