real nice car man.......how do u like it?...hows the ride/power?

 

The car is a blast to drive. Not to mention I seem to get alot of positive attention in it.

 

Alot of people rag on the rx-8 saying its underpowered, but I honestly dont think it is. I certainly wouldnt call the car slow, and for a stock ride, it feels great. The suspension is stiff but still pretty comfortable. Im considering going with a greddy turbo though just for a little more....ooomph. Thanks for the positive feedback guys.

 

I hate the black plastic engine and unrestrained styling, especially in the interior.

Your opinion on the interior is all yours to have and I respect it, although most would argue that they like the interior. But.... the engine is neither black nor plastic. Its a cover that gets removed. Underneath is a gorgeous rotary motor.

 

Good choice in color and sweet looking car.

Too bad it lacks power, for my taste, and doesn't have AWD...but still an overall nice car.

 

^That's why he has the EVO, the RX-8 can be used to go around cruising in, a great combination of cars in my opinion.

I don't like either the looks or the power. You gotta rev it like nuts to extract some power. It does handle nice though.
I didn't like the cheap interior and lack of visibilty. For how much it costs, I'd rather go with VW R32 or maybe G35 coupe/sedan or 350Z or Subaru STi.
I just think that RX-8 is not even a slave to RX-7 which I liked (and still do) very much. Imho RX-7 styling is way better.
But to each his own I guess.

 

Best combo of cars... An Evo and a fun little rwd sporty coupe/roadster... when I get bored of the Evo (rare) I drive the s2000... having 2 TOTALLY different sports cars to drive rocks... And I think the RX8 is hot, once you do some exterior modification (I don't like the looks of the outside) and stay away from chrome wheels, PLEASE!!! I see too many guys around here with RX8s that look like pimp mobiles...

 

Nice car! I never found the suspension that harsh in the RX8. On the contrary, I found the Evo's stock suspension much rougher overall than the RX8's. The RX8 certainly lacks midrange torque, but the GReddy turbo kit should alleviate that issue quickly and void your warranty even faster.

What sucks is that no matter what car you get these days, someone somewhere is making it look like a dumbass pimp mobile.

I personally think you could have done without posing in front of your car.

 

pretty nice car, my friend has one same color, interior is pretty nice, a lil cramped for my test but congrats enjoy.
