can't go wrong with the type-r. it has a b-series motor that has been proven to be very stout. plus that motor sounds so much better when v-tech kicks in. way better then the type-s

never drove an RSX, but had a '00 type-r, black. loved that car. also, i would think a type-r will hold it's value much better than rsx due to rarity, and cult following it has.

Type-R all the way! Had a GS-R, wished it was a Type-R though.
Heres my comparison: The type-r is like an M3 while the rsx-s is like a 330 with a sports package.

Type R all the way...RSX are dime a dozen while the R you hardly see around. If you find a R, go for it!!!

I had a 2001 Integra GS-R. Can anyone confirm that the type R sounds and feels alot different from the GS-R?

Type-R all the way. Vtec screams on the type-r way louder and stronger than the gsr, its my favorite Acura besides the nsx of course.

yes, Vtec kicks in alot harder on the type r because the cams are more aggresive than the gsr.

-good luck, they only imported 750 for 2000 model yr, they had a numbered plaque on the center console. not sure about the numbers for '97-'98.
