hey folks, i came across this site today trying to find some info on the arrival of the evo and i must say i really like the site. anyways if you wanna check out my ride here is a link to pics

current mods are:

RIPP modified Supercharger Kit inlcuding:

Vortech V5 G trim blower - running at 6-8psi; soon to be 9
AMSS/RIPP headers
HKS muffler
HKS BOV
HKS afr - not tuned
270cc RC injectors - too small - still running lean at top end
NGK plugs - 2 range colder
NGK wires
OBD II scanner


KYB AGX adjustable struts all around
Progress Drop
Brembro crossdrilled/slotted rotors with Metal Axxis Pads
shogun body kit - front is busted right now and I have to fix it
DTM 17x5 wrapped in Toyo Proxes

To come next week:

9:1 compression forged pistons/rings...etc - complete engine build
FMIC
RIPP true dual exhaust headers
RIPP Black Box - fuel management; got to retard timing
310cc Injectors

I like it. I've lurked around Club 3G and seen the progress of the RIPP kit on the Eclipse. Just out of curiosity, any torque steer problems? Must be nice to have 4 doors and be THAT fast.

yeah...alot of torque steer. if i dont hold on with two hands during boost onset...the car jurks to the left

IT COST SOME PENNIES...

SDS KIT 4000
Installation 1000
Gauges @ 60 each + install
B&M Tranny cooler 150 or so + install
AMSS/RIPP headers 750 free installation with kit
Poly...motor mount, free with kit
2 trips to dyno 250 and still untuned

Now I got internals comin, with installation of new fuel management, who knows???

I think I am going to start a fund for MYSELF
