This is almost as bad as Nissan Motors filing suit against a man with the last name NISSAN who started a computer buisiness before Nissan Motors even had a website. The man owned nissan.com, and Nissan Motors is suing and will probably take the address from him.

Well, I don't think that anyone who reads this thread (and the one on the STi site) will be bagging on Mitsu as much.

People have been known to complain about warranty concerns and clutches and such, but nothing like this has quite happened here on EvoM (that I know of). In fact, quite the opposite. Subaru OA and FHI slap a suit on those guys, while hosts MOD. Hell, they even market directly to enthusiasts in quite a bit of their advertising, auto show presentations, press releases, etc.

I've always been a guy, but this further solidifies it. Don't get me wrong either....I've had my share of problems with my Evo. But, my local dealer has been nothing but cooperative and helpful in correcting and repairing the problems.

I think they're really going to take a hit in sales in the future if this information spreads. That's too bad. I guess they're mothers never taught them not to bite the hand that feeds you.

That's funny, Subaru thinks I'm such a stupid consumer, that in a similar way, I would think www.bestbuysux.org is authorized, licensed and approved by Best Buy.

Thanks, it's actually good info and an another reason not to get a subaru with a glass tranny if your thinking wrx. I wonder if they will finally beef it up with 2.5L? Oh well don't really care about the saabruu look next year.

Well, it's not quite that bad...

I remember hearing about the Nissan suit at least 3 years ago. I just checked http://www.nissan.com/ to read the latest on the lawsuit and it looks like it's going all the way to the Supreme Court for First Amendment Rights. Eeek...

Still, this Subaru one is kind of stupid too...

Looks like I will be adding Subaru to my list of boycotts.
