Last night my friend ran into me at a stoplight with his g35. When he first got it, it was complete stock w/ new tags... but he's done some lil upgrades here and there . We pulled into an empty parking lot, chit chat and I took some footage of it, decide to make a short video. Nothing spectacular... just a lil teaser of a finish project that I will complete.

Nice looking car, but WHY DOES IT SAY SKYLINE ON IT?!!!!!!! That's just like these Lancer guys putting a body kit on and sticking the Evolution badge on the back. I don't get it.

 

that is deff a sweet G35.. I like those cars...

 

He's going the JDM path - lookwise. He's gonna order the nissan emblems for the front grill and back bumper. IMO... it looks great, and I know this is the US, but in japan it's called the Nissan Skyline 350GT.

He's keeping the engine stock, and might go with a carbon fiber hood, but he'll paint over it the factory color to still maintain his job professionalism.

 

I like the E46 projectors mod, very nice. I'm just waiting to get the '06 headlights once they're available.

The video needs color, more action, perhaps there will be more in the final version. overall not bad...gj

 

Yeah, the final version will have better lighting, sound and daylight footage.

No where near the same thing, in japan, that car is a skyline... it's not a GTR, but it is a skyline. Like stated above, a Skyline 350GT. There is no Infiniti in Japan, so they're all Nissan's.

word, you gotta compress them ***** a little bit more. If you're using Windows Movie Makers just choose one of the options for "Video for Broadband" and this should end up being less than a quarter of the size and still decent quality.

 

Very nice car!!. I like the project he is doing. My boy is a salesman at infiniti. I got to take the new g35 6mt out for a ride. It has 298hp. I loved it. A bit to heavy for me, I still have not drove anything that would get me out of an Evo

Seems like you added hype to a non-hype video... . Anyways, I was talking to him about some friends in the OC that I hung with that own evos, sti, nsx's, type-s and the races we encounter.

EDIT: Footage was just shot on the spur of the moment... that's why it doesnt look so great. It just to show the mods he has done now, which are beautiful. The finish version will look much much better.

 

Funny, my wife and I were in Socal about a month ago and stayed down in Dana Point. I saw that car on the highway (I-5 maybe?) and snapped a crappy pic while I was driving.


Definitely thought it was a nice looking ride.

 

^^^ , that's his car! He told last month some guy tried to take a picture of his ride while he was driving on the 5 freeway, WOW... that's such a coincidence.

 

isnt the 350gt the single turbo version? or is that a diff type?
