God that is horrible. I wish there was a way to get the actual police report and see what that says happened. IDK about you guys but that is just horrible luck right there. I am pretty sure if i drove through a garage around where i live the best thing i'll hit is an 325. I feel bad for the driver and his insurance company. But i feel even worse for the owner of that ferrari. He must be very upset right now. Doubt he ever expected that to happen.

Heck i'd be upset if that happen to me and hit my evo. Can only imagine what hes feeling about that ferrari

He will be well taken care of, the drunk drivers insurance will cover up to his limit (if he has insurance) and then the Ferrari owners home owners insurance will take care of the rest and sue the drunk drivers insurance to make up for it. Hell, he may even get a settlement and a 430 out of it!

Do you think he will be able to settle for more money since there is a waiting list on these cars. even the 360 i believe there is a waiting list for? I mean how much can this guy really get? Obviously a new car but ya know can he get a lot in additional money? I am sure he can i just dont' know the legality of it.

There is no waiting list for 360s because they are no longer in production. He will get market value for his car and repairs to his home. He can then sue for punitive damages, which any jury should agree with considering the circumstances.

BTW....UPDATE:

The person in the Ford was a seventeen year old boy who while reaching for his cell phone lost control (also drunk), launching curb and flying through garage. Also damaged was the c6 vette which sustained minor rear end damage as the truck clipped it flying into the garage.
