looks like the ford escort. at least they didn't suffer in pain when they crashed. wonder how fast they were going to do that to a car?

im gonna guess its a MKIII VW Jetta or Golf due to its taillight design, although I could be wrong. I cant really see it too well but i thing thats what its from

Yeah, they look like Cossie rims. I don't see the whaletail though, so it's probably an RS or GTi.
Is it a photochop?

Considering it is a 4-lug rim.... could be a VW or Ford Escort.. don't all BMW's have a 5-lug pattern? But damn.. that is a strong *** tree.

here's the info on the crash
20 Year old guy was doing over 100 MPH on wet road. He lost control as he was going around a slight bend in the road. The car slammed into a tree and was torn in half. The front end of the car landed approximately 30 yards away.

Unbelievably, the driver survived with minor injuries because he wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out of the vehicle.
