yeah, it does look like one. hmm...i guess that's all i can say about it.

 

seen some new impreza's on the street here in hawaii already. new taillights are ugly but even the rs models seem to have the big bump on the bumpers like the sti's. overall an improvement except f

or taillights which look like cheesey aftermarket type now. oh well. now they have vg's as well.

 

I actually like the look of the "2nd wing" more than the evo's vg, it probably serves the same purpose as the vg also. Cant say the same about the front end. The taillights also look worse than the evo's altezzas to me too, though i would swap either one out right after taking it home from the lot.

 

I'm all about function, even at the expense of style. But....that second wing looks terrible. Actually, so does the primary wing where it bubbles up from the trunk lid. Subaru needs to make the wings look like they are factory rather than some bolt on hardware from the aftermarket Civic catalog. I like the front end.

 

Apparently that is an option for the 06 sti.
