Fast, style, luxury not bad at all. Didn't cost much in the way of mods either.

Always liked the S4, impressive numbers!

 

Those B5 S4's are fast s.o.b.'s. My buddy's S4 is running nearly triple the stock boost ~23psi on upgraded Turbo's and a chip without even touching the internals.

 

lets not get ahead of ourselves. the AWE k04 turbo kit and fuel kit is 10g's, plus intercooler, tbe, clutch, tuning and install... i duno pretty pricey to me.

I did not know that the owner hinted the total cost to be under 10K. I know nothing about S4's or Audi's in general, so thanks for the information.

And thats not including the clutch and install. I would say there is a fair amount of money in the car. The tuning is generic and 99% of the time it is never fine tuned on any particular car due to the power of the ECU's on VW/Audi cars. It baisically like a base map, but better.

 

he actually did have it at awe for a custom tune.....he put down 430whp something on race gas which is what he ran at the track with . I think it was a lot of tq though combined with a light light s4, fast shifting and a good driver who doens't mind breaking it if thats what it takes....he got great times outta it before these are just better without nos.

He also ripped out all of the interior so luxury wen right out the window. Now there is no excuse not to run 11s.

 

I have an S4 with the AWE Stage III and other stuff...although its faster then my stock (for now) evo, I enjoy the ride in the evo much more. Luxury and looks are great, but I have to say for all out performance, the evo seems to take it, especially in turns. And that's not even considering the repair difference, the clutch alone just ran me 1850 installed.

He just needs some better suspension if he plans to launch like that.
