harness bar advice

hi
i drive a sti and my friend drives a evo VIII i will be getting fixed seats soon hopefully, but before i gat them i want to get harnesses for the car. knowing harnesses are unsafe without a harness bar i plan to get the sparco harness bar. does anyone have one in their evo or could any one advise me to how much room my already small back seat room i would have, and could i still use my back seats with the harness bar installed?
thanks
christ k.

They are called M1Fabrication. And they come in Black and Grey. They don't have a website. But here is there number. Just ask for Mack 714-797-8380
