i have a 97 xr7 the cooling system is spraying coolant every where right behind the water pump. i already replaced the pump and that didnt do it. it looks as though there is water or antifreeze burning in the negine as well cause of the white smoke coming out of the exhaust anyone have any ideas what the hell this problem is please let me know asap thanks.

Sounds like a blown head gasket to me. Smell your oil and see if it smells like coolant.

 

doesnt smell like coolant also i checked intake gaskets they are good and when i took the intake mani off all the seals looked good i also replaced the water pump still having the problem. but after taking the mani off there is a screw hole on the right side of teh engine under the mani and the coolant when running it shoots up under the alternator the only other thing i could think of its a heater core line fun the coolant didnt feel that hot when it sprayed any other inquries woul dbe greatly appreciated thanks.
