Has anyone seen or believe this?

Okay There was this supra on ebay with like 50k miles very clean Twin turbo everything good. The bid was only at 500$ and buy it now for 5k. So i sent him a message and asked if it was legit and this is what he said...

Hi there ,

Sorry for the delayed answer but i have had some problems with my email adress. First of all my name is Richard Wells and i am the owner of the silver 1998 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo Quick silver six speed that you have asked about yesterday on eBay.I am realy sorry if i have offended you last night by blocking your id for bidding but unfortunatly i have had a few unpleasent experiences in the past so i prefer to talk with my buyer before i sell the car to him.

As you can see from the pictures, this car is flawless inside and out.

The interior is in like new condition and has never been smoked in.I bought the car from Burlingame ,CA 6 years ago.You can see a picture of it if you clik the link or if you put it in your web browser ( http://show.imagehosting.us/show/919..._-1_919582.jpg )

I am willing to sell it for a lower price than usual because i have recently got a promotionat my work and i have to move with my family in Europe.I got a new home in Rome ,Italy so keepimg the car with me is impossible because i can not registrate it in there because of the tax and registration fees to high.

This is a very very clean car in & out!!! This Supra has all the options, and the metallic quicksilver paint. There are only 9 automatics & 24 six-speeds ever made in this color ever in 1998 the last year!!!! The car runs strong and pulls like a train. This car is completely stock except for a blow of valve, adjustable Tein shocks (all 4), and TRD sway bars. This Supra is a 2 owner car, and there is no abuse here!!! Carfax certified. Loaded with every option including a Targa roof

The price of US $5,000.00 includes all the shipping and insurance fees from my place to your shipping adress. The car is still for sale since i have not find any buyer localy .

I have all papers from the car, keys, user manuals and clear title. The cars meets all EPA and DOT regulation and has all USA specs on it and there will be no problem for you to register this in your name. The keys and papers will be sent with UpS owernight.Shipping the car will not take more than 6 days and when it will arrive you will not have to pay any extra money beside the buy it now price .

Because of the large amount involved in this deal i will accept a US $2,500.00 prior shipping and the balace of US$2,500.00 after delivery is made.In case you are still interested in buying for US $5,000.00 or bidding on my car i will contact eBay in order to confirm your bid.I hope that you are ok to make the deal by eBay since this way is the only way that i can move forward.

I hope that all this infos were enough to start your interest in buying my car and i look for your emails with questions that you might have.

Regards and all the best,
Richard W.

Don't forget, this is Evo General. That is not an Evo and is not related to Evos.

Anyway, no way is that legit. He could have sold it with no running motor for 5k in a heartbeat locally, yet he says he couldn't sell it when it runs perfectly?

Yea I guess it is a scam I figured it would be...the guy could easily sell it for like 20k or something. That would be nice if it was true though

For $5k purchase price, you could fly out to look at the car and still make money. That's what I would do. See how he responds to that email.

Yeah I don't believe it either, just way to good to be true. I can understand someone wanting to unload a car, but that price just raises way to many red flags and only a complete moron would sell that car for only $5,000 or unless it was a scam. Honestly it's not even a good scam, because the price is just way to low.

I'd like to point out that no one who can afford a Last Year TT Supra would speak/write in that poor of english. It looks like a little kid or a foreigner who doesnt speak english as a first language wrote that. I'd tell the guy to go F off....besides, if he was ebaying the car and people didnt find it fishy, they'd have already bid far above the 5k.

Scam. I've emailed on Evo's from Yahoo, Cars.com, ect... that were fairly local in the ad... but of course, the car is REALLY in NY and the seller is in London. Yeah right.

All of a sudden, i just looking for Supra and other cars like RX-7 on the internet these few days to see is there any good deals. First I saw a black supra is posted on www.craigslist.org with a very good price. It is a twinturbo and it got higly moddified interior, sond system and LCD( 7 LCDs in the car ) It just asking 13000. i know it is a good deal but i just don't have the cash now, so i left it. 2 days later i saw the post is gone so i thought is was sold but that is not the case. i saw the same car is up for sale on ebay which buy it now price $6200!!!! of course..i want to know if it is true of not..if it is ture i will ask my friend to borrow me some cash first . so I sent a e-mail and ask the seller.i did get the reply on the same day and one day after, i want to show my friend the post, but i couldn't find the post any more...so i thought it was "sold " but the same time..i saw another very nice yellow twin turbo supra(again, higly moddified with low mileage)the buy it now price is like $6000 i was shocked again..but i know the wolrd is not that perfect...so i just ignored it. The funny thing i found with both post is that i can not click anywhere on the page.(I know my English is suck..but what i mean is..when i click into the webpage to see the detail of the car.i can see the page but i can't click even a single bottom on my mouse..when i did a massage like "E-mail the seller first" is poped up.this happened on both sale, the black on and the yellow one.

today i just go to check my e-mail and find this e-mail, it is reply of the black supra seller.

Hello,
My name is Nelson Tella.
First of all I want to thank you for your interest you showed in my car that I had listed on eBay.
I am from USA but recently married a gorgeous Italian girl and moved with her family in Roma .
I took the car with me here with the intention of driving it here but I cannot register it in Italy as it is made for USA market and has US specs on it so I have decided to sell it for a small amount of money so that I can buy myself a new European car.I also have to pay for the mortgage of my new house so I need some cash very soon and can't afford to wait to get a better price on the car.I had made this decision to sell the car faster only for $6000US,shipping included, even decided to support all the shipping charges in order to make a smooth deal for this car.I also have to pay for the mortgage of my new house so I need some cash very soon and can't afford to wait to get a better price on the car.I will use Lufthansa Airplane Cargo for shipping, so you will be able to receive it in 4-5 working days (depending on your exact location). The car will be crated, will have an insurance and will be delivered at your door without you being charged one penny more.As soon as I have your firm decision that you want to buy, I will take the car to Lufthansa Airplane and pay all the taxes for the shipping including the insurance and the custom fees. Along with the car, I will send you all the documents that I have for the car - the title ,keys, owner manual and all the receipts from services.
From the beginig you have to know that I will end this deal only trough Ebay so bought of us will be protected.
If you are interested in buying it I will apreciate a faster answer from your side.
Best regards,Nelson Tella

so now....everyone take a guess....is this a scam?
