What was your first car?
Oh man.. my 1996 Talon. lol. I did an eclipse conversion with a body kit on it. I think I was like 16.
(only like 3 years ago, almost 4) It actually looked pretty decent for back in the day cause nobody had any car like it in my area. (Detroit area) So, it stood out in a crowd. It was nothing special and wasn't fast, but it was fun as a first car/learning experience. Here's some pix..
edit: I guess its more tasteful because I was smart enough not to add a 16'' tall aluminum spoiler, even though I didn't know it was rice back then.

1989 Toyota Pick-up. Got it while in highschool, helped pay for it working summer jobs. White, 2wd, std. cab. 4-cyl, 4-spd manual. Too cheap for even a 5-speed! It had rubber mat floor and a bench seat. No power anything. Real stripper model.
However, it did have sweet sawblade 15" rims! Anyone old enough to remember when they were the rim to have? Mine were white with chrome lips. Man I thought that truck was so cool. I dumped too much in to it. Typical kid: Custom door panels, bucket seats, carpet, and 5 differnt stereo systems.
It wouldn't die. I tried to kill it. Almost 200k miles, just two clutches. Finally, when I graduated college, I traded it in ($1000 of pity from dealer) for my first miata. It was in rough condition, it backfired like Uncle Bucks caddy. I still miss it a little bit.

Lets just say 40mph+ without the ability to turn, about to head off into a ditch, was not fun. It was like driving a sail boat, the wheel would just turn and turn.
