thinking of buying this '03 wrx, help

Question thinking of buying this '03 wrx, help

body: wings west, monster, vis

headlights: jdm sti projector

brakes: front=stoptech big brake kit

engine: 2.5 sti (built)

trans: jdm sti v8.0

turbo kit: custom built by maxturbo (garret 35r)

intercooler: front mount perrin

diff: legacy 22b

interior: jdm sti

ecu: motok w/link

wheels: 5zigen 7's

gauges: blitz

stereo: poineer-dvd 7" screen

there's some more stuff done to too...

what's a fair price for this car???

wow really amazing wrx!! but the engine compartment looks really dirty (but cleanable) and looks like a oil spill on the left side of the engine bay?? maybe a careless owner??

Looks good, but it looks like they don't take good care of it. Under the hood looks like sh*t for an '03.

he said it's leaking because he's not using an oil catch can...

but, what's a fair price for the car???

get a compression test done...and a leak down test while you're at.

I thought they changed from the bugeyes in '03. Or was that just because they released the '04s in March?

well, arent you going to tell us the mileage and some history about the car? id say you should pay 17k..that would be a good price..

I think you need to get the car checked out by a mechanic before you do anything. That oil under the intake is a bad sign.

That may be brake fluid. It's right under the resevoir and cylinder.

Do you really want to go from a EVO to a WRX?, I mean not that the WRX is not a nice car but I take the EVO anytime.

From own experiences keep the Evo or get the Evo 8 05 or the Evo 9 , you would not be dissapointed.

My WRX was absolutely crap, the worst tranny in the world, that is why I drive what I drive today. Look at my signature.
