I was wondering what kind of whp a 2005 STi would be putting down with the following mods:

Turboback Exaust (no cat)
Intake
Fuel Pump
Ported wastegate?
UTEC (tuned on 93)
19psi

Might have left some other fuel thing out.

 

I have personally seen a STI turn 185-195 stock on a dyno and then turn like 230-240 with those mods. So 50 +/- whp gain. It was tuned by somone that came down from TurboXS so it was done right. This was done on a dyno dynamics resulting in the low readings. Hope this helps.

Shoot after re-reading this was on a 2004 model not a 2005. Should be close to the same though.

 

i would say somewhere around 270-285whp on a dyno jet

 

I have seen anywhere from 275 to 310 WHP. it all depends on who is tuning the UTEC.

 

305 whp, possibly a little more. I have seen them dyno like that on average...

 

My 2005 was running 296whp and 310wtq on a dynojet after a full exhaust (no cat) and Cobb Accessport ProTuned by Agile. I had full boost at 2800RPM and 19PSI. Tapering to 15 btw. 5K-7K RPM. If he has injectors he can hold the boost high almost all the way to redline. Guys at Agile said that my car put out some of the best results they had seen with so little mods.

I imagine with those mods he'll probably put down 300whp and 310wtq on a dynojet.

If you are to run with him, you'll probably destroy him with your numbers...
