Great handling and speed boat in the same sentence?

And for the record. No. I haven't driven a Viper. Or a Supra or an Evo.

I have been researching them constantly, and found out they do have quite a bit of problems, and when they do have problems, they are incredibly expensive to repair. I live in Colorado, and I really do not want to drive a peice of **** beater during the winter...I'd rather enjoy it in an Evo. Not to mention when you buy a Evo new, you have the safety in your mind knowing where the car has been and how it has been treated.
500+HP they have problems?? You haven't been doing your research very well man. Supra's are known for their reliability even when modified. They're one of the most reliable sports cars you can get.

did you not hear of Mark Tozers Supra? 900HP at the wheels and He use to take His daughter to school in it. And some of these Supra's with high HP figures actually get off the line reasonably well considering their power. Expensive tyres are genrally a must but then, you'd expect high maintenance costs for something that powerful. And 500HP Is very streetable in a Supra. Alot of Supra's get around 460HP with BPU (Basic Power Upgrades) and that only means the usual intake, exhaust, downpipe and EBC mods.

So you complain about the Supra being a not-very streetable car at around 500HP, yet you want to own a twin turbo Viper?

Your still confused, im confused that you think I hate the evo. When you have no proof of me ever hating on the evo on here, still confused? You say you check my post and see I hate on "evos", but i never have, still confused? If it was up to me, I would have bought a MT G35 but it wasnt, still confused? Im bitter because I said I would prefer a r34, supra, s15 over a evo...? It's called an opinion. I don't have to choose evo if I don't want too. If you can take one opinion that he express on a online forum fill with thousands of opinion, than maybe you need to log off the internet.

... so before you quote me again maybe you should get of this "confused state of mind", and reply with something meaningful.

I was never a sucker for american cars, allthough the viper is cool... I would rather drive a supra.

Yeah, there's no doubt in my mind that the Viper is a beast of a car, but like I said, I prefer Supra's.

Of course the Viper's gonna make awesome power. That's what happens when you twin-turbocharge an 8-litre V10!! But I think Supra's demand a reasonable amount of respect for what they're capable of.

I know what I am talking about, I don't just go around saying random ****. Read that before you call me out again, and I know what BPU is, and BPU Supras do NOT dyno at 460, it's 360-410, go to www.mkiv.com and read before you say that.

Yea, man sorry....a big routy motor that redlines at 6 grand...and is a pushrod motor is dumb in my book. I think technology has come to far....to make me cross back over to the muscle car deal. Dont get me wrong the viper is a fast car, fast as all hell, But for the amount of money you have to put into it to run 8's...its a little over excessive. And yes having a big motor like a v10 is dumb. No need for it...and real high reving motor like a ferrari is cool...not something like the viper. OHHH btw...the NISMO SKYLINE is the worlds fastest production based car. DO YOU research first man.

all you people saying how skyline is the king... well, in a perfect world yes, but you guys have to understand that the supra remains king due to the fact that it can be legally purchased in the us while the skyline cannot. nobody can deny the skyline's dominance as the ultimate jdm...

Another useless post in Evo general. Shouldn't this be moved to OT or other cars?

TT vipers win end of story there is no cometition. 4 TT vipers now trapping over 160mph all under 30psi all are street cars with full accessories.

It's just a matter of time "There is no replacement for displacement when you add twins to you're 8.0liter+ viper!!"
you couldn't be more...WRONG! I've seen TT and SC vipers get blown out of the water at the strip or highway. T88 Supras, etc..pushing out 900-1200whp STREET is kind of hard to stop. I have the video of the TT Viper (yellow wit stripes) that holds the world record for fastest Viper. Pretty fast, but the record for fastest street Supra is faster

ya i got that mag. the worlds fastest pump gas drags and if you recall it went 8.6 @ 166 pump gas, full int., fiberglass system in trunk it weight 3800lbs, it pulls the front wheels w/ an 8.0L v 10 that you could land a 747 on the hood its so long, and they said " we put street tires on it and drive it to dinner". no supra that runs that fast can do that. and theres talk of it going like 8.2 next year still pump gas.
