The Skyline GTR, and several others that escape me right now...

Rumor has it that if the RX-8 does well... something like the original RX-7 will make it's way back to the US market.

Looks like it's time for some investigative work!!!! Subaru has a small facility across the street from Mitsu's headquarters in Cypress where I took pics of the blue evo months ago. When I drove by after taking pics, I saw some WRX's parked there. I'm wouldn't doubt they'll have at least one STi there. I'll try to get pics this weekend.

Good idea Rob. Hopefully there are some STi's there, would be nice to see what they actually look like in person.

have you seen the RX8 in person? I thought they were fugly, especially compared to the fd, but once I saw one at the MPLS auto show, my opinion is very different. It looks very nice in black, very smooth & powerful looking. It still has 2 to many doors & seats, and 2 few turbos, but it's a nice addition to the Mazda line. Oh, and the Renesis is supposed to be far more reliable in comparison to the outgoing 13b-REW.

Lotus Elise anyone? New Audi S4? New Audi RS6? Performance cars are making a comback.

I agree. When I first saw it in the mags I was serioulsy dissapointed, but I saw it at HIN and was pretty impressed. Its quite clean and sleek. What really pisses me off about it, besides the fact that it dosnt have boost and any torque whatsoever, is that the engine has this weird little plastic thing covering it. I want to see the Renesis! Not some little plastic thing that says "Rotary"!
