I was planning on putting Cobra wheels on my truck, 17x9 with 275/55/17 is what this guy did, it is enough tire by the looks of it to take care of me for all 4 seasons. I have a charcole grey explorer, these pictures are of a black explorer with non chrome Cobra wheels, I was wondering, should I buy some in chrome? should I buy the style in the picture and have them painted black? I like these wheels and I AM going to go through with it but wich would be the coolest. Heres a picture of my truck, and then the one WITH the Cobra wheels.

 

yea it would look alright, but why would you do that? your cars not a mustang its a explorer. you would be such a poser doing that

 

No I think you are missing the point, in no way am I trying to be a Mustang poser, I could have bought one lol... the fact of the matter is though it's been done before it is an original idea, im not straying to far into the aftermarket for them either... it's a Ford thing but how often do you see Z06 rims on a Blazer??? I have tinted windows, black tails, I will have a billet grill and I plan on taking the front chrome grill and replacing it with a charcole one to match... I just figured they would be different, clean it up well I mean in all honesty I think 20's on an Explorer look retarted, this isnt supposed to be my pimp shack, but I also wanted to make the best of it considering I can't sell it.

I figure that it is a Ford Explorer and you should just save your money. That's just my opinion though.
