2004 vortech GTO

a few months back, i posted a pic of my friends vortech gto, and said i was going to get one around the 1st of the new year. and here it is.

i am about half way done with the install, but as you see it now, is about what it will look like when completed.

i know a lot of you guys arent a fan of my car but i think you can appricieate a fast car right

Any LS-1 with a blower certainly ain't slow.

4700 ain't too bad. I've seen them go much higher.

Now, how about one of those on an LS-2

my buddy has a 9psi pully and a custom tune and is at 480 rwhp.

I drove the 05 6L GTO with some mods on a road course, it was sick! Those are FUN cars to drive! Hope you have a good source for rear tires, I see a lot of drifting and burn outs coming. Looks great! Have fun!
BTW, Get Pre-paid legal now, before you have any tickets!

everyone thinks it will be better, but they forget about the 11:1 compression. you guys, know thats not good for boost. LOL

Sweet car...do you plan on lowering the compression in the future and bumping the boost?

One of my department heads has 6.0 with a manual and he let me take it for a spin and I thought it was very tight and well put together. The 5.7 is an excellent motor as well and the gto/monaro platform has awesome potential

hell ya, by the time my stock motor starts to get tired, i will have the money for a forged short block, and the money to beef up the drive line.....

axle stubs, drive shaft, rear end, and cv shafts, then prob 12 -14 psi, and that will should be close to 700rwhp

ohh and new fuel system.
