Thats pretty cool. With the 2 engines you could do some wicked forward/reverse burnouts.

Wonder what the top speed is?

There was a twin engine AWD Tiburon in SCC a while back. He did massive forward/reverse burnouts. I think each engine was turbo charged, packing about 360HP in each. The thing did a quarter mile in just over 10secs.

Yeah, I saw that Tiburon. In this month's and last month's SCC. Runs on methanol I think. I would love to see what it looked like when the driver let the hammer drop on those wheels. Must've been quite the cloud.

When i read the article i thought it was twin turbo... but when I checked back again I saw two engines.
I still don't get how 2 engines are faster than 1... don't give me that
1+1 is more than 1 BS

Fast but not the fastest. Car and driver did a shoot out a while ago between a Camaro ZL1 and a Boss Mustang. The Mustang ran a 1.8 0-60 time. Each car made between 800-900 HP.

not true my friend

the fastest car in the world is a corvette sledgehammer that is quad turbo i believe and does a top speed of 250.5mph. Actually the fastest car in the world is the escudo pikes peak which would eat the boss mustang....and i dont mean just on gran turismo, it is a real car and theres only one and they have never done tests on it but it should be known that it is the fastest. check out supercars.net

Yeah if were not talking street legal. I remeber the Blue Flame going around 617MPH. But that was a while ago so i'm sure that record has been beaten.

Almost forgot these two. The TT Callaway Corvette and the TT Lingerfelter Corvette. Both hit speeds over 230MPH. Not the fastest but damn impressive.
