They made two engines on the GT3'S for the 996 model, one was a 360hp rated and the other one 380hp.

If you really like the thrill of a GT3 for 1/3 of the price get a used Porsche 911(964) Carrera America RSR. It comes with a stroker 3.8 from factory, light flighwheel, coilovers from factory and off course absolutely superlightweight (aproximately 1200 kilograms).

I am considering selling my Golf GTI pitch money and get a used 911(964), I miss them so much..
