And all of these cars will most likely be crushed at any impact above 30 mph. What are the safety standards in China? I know they don't have any standards when it comes to plagiarism but they must have some for security.

What's that?
A mix and match from an Rx-8(overall shape), a Cobalt(rear), an S13(headlights) and the grill I just can't put my finger on it but I've seen it somewhere else.

The MG was out way before the rx8, and cobalt. Know your cars!

It's quite interesting that Chinese carmakers are really struggling to find a 'look' distinctive to their cars. I suppose the rest of the world aren't all the much better - lots of cars are sold as different brands in different countries. (What's sold as a Daewoo in the UK is sold as a Chevrolet in Thailand. What a disgrace to the Corvette.)

Considering that these Chinese cars are mainly based on the old models of other cars (probably buying used tooling and machines from Toyota so somebody wholesale) their safety standard isn't going to be that far off, I guess. At least not that far off the standards a few years ago. Perhaps there won't be as many add-ons like airbags and stuff, but you have to look at it from a Chinese perspective. They're trying to get 2 billion low-income people into cars in a rather short time. It's more a matter of whether or not somebody has a car at all rather than how good the car is. Unfortunately corners will be cut and the cars won't really be able to compete against today's standards but this will sure improve. It will take a lot of time, but it will.

LoL, that SUV looks quite similar to the Isuzu Axiom. From the A-C Pillars, the car seems to be extremely similar if not the same.
