I was at the Cleveland Auto Show last weekend and I was talking to the person at the GTO stand. I was asking her why they were discontinuing it: She said there were new airbag laws and the GTO would not pass the test. She said this gave them the perfect opportunity to redesign it. If you ask me, it's about time they redesigned it. Supposedly they are reintroducing it in a few years. Hopefully, drastically changed!!

GM is bleeding like a stuck pig, they are not gona spend cash redesigning a Niche car.

Ford did the same with the GT40, not gona spend that time and money on a Niche car. Count your lucky stars we still have the Vette.

Yea, I hear ya. I doubt they will bring it back. It seemed like an excuse to tell people that knew they were discontinuing it

If there even in business in a few years. GM needs to get their head out of their a$$ and design a car somone wants and make it last longer than 100k miles. Im a huge GM fan but right now they dont make a damn thing I would buy except the Vette and I dont think I would even buy one. Its time to get away from american cars and step up to the lower Exotics.

How bout they ditch the impala, montecarlo and buicks? Those things have such a stench in the car community that they would have to put supercharged LS7s in them to make people get close to them.

I read somewhere that they are comin' back with a couple higher power RWD's...including the impala and monte.
