No, doubt about that!! AMS's would, Buschur's, Dan's, Matt's, Al's, but for 5K in the car it's fast as hell....opposed to 25K+ in the EVO's. He's not the fastest Nitrous Pete went 9.98 with the same mods just a 125 shot instead of a 60 shot.

Lol typical answer. It took a lot of money and time to get that AMS evo where it is. The terminator needs intake, exhaust, ported blower, pulleys, Boost-a-pump, halfshafts and tires to hit the 10's. You could have that for a few grand and slap it all on in a weekend. A guy that lives near the local track has a cobra with only a $6k turbo kit, halfshafts, and tires and runs 10.49 w/a race weight of around 4000 lbs. I love Evo's but its hard to deny the horsepower per dollar of the cobras.

I can hear it now, "Lets see it go around a corner!" Surprise! SVT built the damn thing for handling, not drag strip performance. There is an IRS under there so it can handle the twisties as well.

Rant off just trying to deny the haters before they come outta the woodwork.

And yes, I really do love the Evo, I would trade my car in for an Cobra or Evo anyday of the week.
