Performance Vs. Price

One of the biggest selling points for the EVO for me was the Bang for the buck.

We get the performance of cars costing twice as much as the EVO.

Is there a car in the neighborhood of lets say $60,000 that out performs cars that cost $120,000?? If so what is it?

I was really looking at the new Skylines, but I don't think that would leave me enough money for my house payment.

I think the most common answer would be get a new EVO and put $20,000 of mods into it.

Yeah, what he said. With a few bolt ons it can run a 10 sec 1/4 and still handle just as good on any road course. I dont think anything can beat it for the price.

I hope the C6 Z06 drives better than the C5 Z06. The C5 feels like a boat when you are driving it, far from nimble. Puts up the g numbers but you can't feel what it's doing like an Evo.

this question only has one answer, and everybody's already said it. actually the c6z can outperform anything under 200k...so it's more than double the price.....

at least on the 'ring it can

seriously that car is crazy...

oh and the vette will not feel as nimble as the Evo....i sat inside one at a car show and the car is HUGE, and i believe the Evo has one of the smallest steering ratio's on the market right now....

Even the base C6 feels better than the C5z did. The C6 is smaller and tighter, and doesn't give the feeling of being 'fat' like the C5 did.

OK, thanks for the replies. I went on E-bay to see how much it would cost to get into c6zo6. It looked like it would be hard to buy one for 65K. But yah it has the Bang for the buck factor. I just don't have that many bucks.

if you want the most nimble car for the money and you don't care about the fastest times, go for a lotus.

A C6 with the Z51 package (upgraded wheel/tire/suspension) might do the trick for you and come in around $55k.

Show up to a Chevy dealership with 65K and see if you can get one. It goes for over 80K atleast.
