Could anyone tell me How many pounds of Boost these cars have from the factory?

I'll take a guess an say around 6psi

 

im assuming...this is just me assuming either 9 pounds flat or anywhere from 9-13pounds. I say 9 initailly because im not sure of the modifications they do to the engines, the stock stang GT can only hold 9psi on stock motors.

 

sorry 9-13 if they have modded beyond a bolt-on supercharger...

do they use a vortech-centfical style?

I Raced one pushing 12 pounds......I was at his back bumper untill about mid way threw third......and then he pulled a car length on me! Im not sure what all he had done, all he would tell me was he how many pounds he was pushing. I didnt think they were pushing 12 pounds from the factory!

Now i dont feel so bad........

oh yeah, and i was 4 deep!

3 pounds of boost in my mustang feels like 10 pounds in my evo LS-1's always got my stock evo 8 in third also?

 

I would recommend against posting about it unless you were at the track...

 

i beat it pretty good. gotta love the 272/272 cams. when we were slowing down to give each other thumbs up, he yell out his window if i have NOS and what type of car i'm i driving??? . if i were to get one i would get the 05, i think it looks better than the new one.

 

My next mod is going to be Cams........I need some more top end!!
