That's what I love about exotic cars, just seeing one can make someone's day. As long as my investments work out ok, I should be able to own one by the time I'm 40. Gee, only 15 more years, can't wait!

Supercars aren't about horsepower numbers. It's about the whole car concept. They have EVERYTHING, performance, handling, sound, looks, comfort (sorta).

Yes I understand that. But I just was guessing that the power numbers would be higher, that is all.

Ha ha ha... No matter what car other than a EVO anybody posts about that the non-Evo haters wont bash I can see it now "I would not have it, my '03 evo with $(X)K in mods will easily own it", "It's an overpriced, underperforming POS, my EVO is much better".......

Can your modified EVO go faster than this?

I was probably a mistake. I was soo tired. However, around 62nd just off Madison we found a great little restaurant. It's called Serafina's (formerly known as Sofia's). If you have not been there yet, it might well be worth a trip. My wife had a fantastic salad and I ate a whole pizza (absolutely great pizza, wood oven style).
Anyway, the building that the Lambo was parked in front of had a big letter "e" on the sidewalk right in front. I mean a big 3 dimensional metal lower case "e".... Does that ring a bell?
nope, I havent walked around that area in a long time...

Dont get me wrong, the car was beautiful, i just though it would do more on the dyno is all. It isnt like, I would rather have an evo than a lambo, just saying it wasnt as high a HP number as i thought it would be.

Unfortunately this Lamborghini dealer in Rome was closed the day I walked by it, so I guess I'll just have to stick with the Evo.

I see stuff like this all the time, there is a bentley dealer 2 blocks from where i work and they get way more then bentley's in there. they had two saleens (http://www.supercarcup.com/s72.jpg) and an actual bugatti (http://infynyteon.iespana.es/Bugati.jpg) PARKED ON THE STREET! on to mention the bentley's, Mercedes, ferrari's, and lambos. at one time there was an Enzo inside, not anymore.

Tell me about it. Thing was so fast, it's body actually expanded during flight. Leaked fuel like crazy after landed.

I read something a long time ago about the Black Bird. It was said that it flew so fast and high that the entire fuselage was annealed every time if flew!
BTW, the Intrepid museum is definitely worth seeing. They have a piece of the Berlin wall outside as well as pieces of the Arizona that was sunk in Pearl Harbor and a piece of one of the planes that hit the twin towers.... The collection of film somebody took during the WTC disaster is available to see with a loupe (they are all 35mm slide film). For me the whole thing was a very moving experience.

Yeah, the Blackbird would leak JP-7 jet fuel before flight, take off, heat up the fuselage to seal the tanks, refuel in air, and then begin its mission. Very cool.

JP-7? I'm a fuels guy by trade and I've never heard of JP-7. I thought we went from JP-5 directly to JP-8. Well, at least that's how it is in the Air Force.
