Lancer GLX

I just got back from a cruise in the Bahamas. Our last stop was in Nassau. In Nassau I was ridding the tour bus and saw a bunch of Lancers including an Evo IV and two Lancer GLX's. What is this GLX badge. In searching, I found three pages of registered rides . I could not find any posts on it. The only thing that comes up is the Passat GLX.

I was able to find this brief write-up on it, but I want more info. Especially on certain stuff like the CVT.

I know I'll probably find enough info on my own here shortly, but half the reason for posting was to also bring this up for discussion. Cause from what I've seen so far, this looks damn cool!

cvt owns us, its more like one big gear, and every time you shift to another "gear" its at constant max. powerband
