Hey, just wanting some info on early 90's engines. I have a friend who has an early 90's Eagle Talon 2.0L DOHC and it kinda got hurt and he needs a new block. We were just wondering if the block from a 2.0L SOHC is interchangeable with the DOHC. He can get the single for about half the price and just wanted to know. Thanks.

 

No. The 4g94 block is definitely way different. If you need a first gen 4g63 try a junkyard. Turbo and non turbo are virtually identical and he could have spare parts to work with.
