My new project....UPDATED (COMPLETE)
J/K... Its a customer car. The treatment it is receiving is a Kinetics stage 2 turbo kit, with C2 engine management, as you all know I HATE C2 but Matt was looking for something he would not have to mess with.
She is also receiving a full 3in TBE, Front mount, and Stage 2 fuel system...
I worked on it today for about an 1 1/2 hours and just removed the head today and it should be finished up by next weekend complete with dyno graphs and all, I will post pics as the car is reassembled[

2 weeks later
Venders are so slow at get parts out on time
Well I finally got the turbo VR6 done. The kit install was very smooth over all. I did not install the FMIC yet, we got an EIP system on its way with all the piping. Matt wanted to use 2 1/2in exhaust, but I talked him into a custom 3" I did for him for around $200... and HOLY SH*T, it has to be the baddest sounding VR6 in ohio.
So with in the next week or so boost should be set at around 17 psi, along with the inline fuel pump[
]. I gotta say the car HAULS some serious a** for only 7 psi, 8.5 to 1 C/R, and no intercooler. Final #'s were 250.0 whp, with a somewhat crappy a/f ratio, that I got fixed today (d*mn C2 software).
Gotta give a big thanks to Dyno Tune Motor Sports for the hook up on the dyno. If anyone is looking to get there VW done this is the place to go, they ARE your central Ohio dyno headquarters for all cars. 614-778-8984. Mustang oweners should take advantage of there custom SCT chip tuning for Mustang's!!!
Also thanks to Pedro for help at the last minute, with the exhaust. He's my little B*TCH[

] You gotta lve the Kinetic's dump pipe[

And for the final #'s

Thanks Matt and have fun with the new ride... 17 psi is right around the corner... then a built block, head, trans, axles... its never ending[B)][8D]
