my boss just got one for his 19 year old son.. funny thing is his son wrecked a new gt pulling out of his school's parking lot so daddy got him a shelby... must be nice to have daddy buy u new cars all the time... o well

 

One thing is for sure, drive a Porsche down the main street in Greenwich CT and no one will even notice. Drive a Shelby Mustang down the street and people will stop in their tracks to look. Seen it happen.

That's exactly what I was thinking!

 

i thought it was a great commercial but i wouldnt want to be driving any live axle mustang of any year including the GT500 at that speed in the heavy rain! ( light rain would be even worse. i know what its like, i had an 01 camaro ss and in the rain be careful going fast!

 

The commercial was aight. But lets be honest, its JUST A F***ING COMMERCIAL. "Just when I thought blah blah blah I HATE FORD" You don't like FORDs yet you post an ad for them? Get over yourself.

 

I liked the commercial. I can't find a speed limit in America that I like either.....

 

amusing how many people miss the point of all this. it's like watching a movie that goes great lengths to be realistic, but then at some random moment asks you to suspend all disbelief. everything else about the commercial was perfect - until it passed the GT (and don't be foolish, this was intentional and was supposed to mean something, however inaccurate it may be).

and i can't get over myself. i'm just too awesome.

 

i like the commercial too it was kind of cheesy though
