went to the local Subaru dealership today looking for an STi. No STis to be found, but they did have 2 WRXs side by side:

I think the new WRX looks better than the old one, except for the fog lights. Those new fog lights are amusingly small. They should've kept the nice big round ones.

 

Hood scoop looks a little goofy. They look like they are set too far back, I'm sure thier's a reason for that, just my opinion though.

 

that goes rigt into the TMIC if i remember right thats why its further back

 

I beleive the scoop sits right on top of the intercooler.

 

I agree with ru4real...the new WRX looks better, I like those improved headlights but those tiny foglights?

 

smaller foglights prolyl means they're more efficient, and smaller chance of getting broken

dayum, the bug eye subie must have sucked so much...lol subie changed the design after like what, 2 years?

 

it's sad but true. i heard subaru caught a lotta flack world wide from the redesign in 2001 (2002 stateside). in all honesty, the new design and the new new design don't hold a candle to the 93-00 body imprezas (strictly based on looks imo).

i think they did a pretty poor job in redesigning it... but ugly? not really. but then again, i may be biased.

 

I like the new front, be keep the old scoop

All in all, GC8 bodystyle (shall we say 22B?) stills OWNZ in the look department
