Just picked up 04 Mazdaspeed Miata

All pics: http://asianguywithacamera.com/miata/

I don't really need two but oh well. My neighbors think I'm crazy, though. Between both Miatas (my 97 is also red), I have 9 cubic feet of trunk space

I'll keep it mostly stock until next Spring then I'll do the basic bolt ons, intake/full exhaust/brakes/suspension/ebc/bov/steror.

Yeah, it's kinda sad that the IC looks like an oil cooler lol I can slap on my R rubber and still run circles around most cars on the street. I'll only take this to about 240 at the crank since I don't want to ruin the balance of the vehicle.

My Ex had one of those in gray. It was a great car. I'd buy one in a heart beat.

my friend has a black msm and i get to drive it pretty frequently. he's got roll cage/springs (not even coilovers) and it handles like a motherf*cker...very fun car to drive. stock exhuast tone sounds pretty nice too IMHO.

the baby fmic is cute always make fun of his car for that...

i forget which motor is in that miata but i do know the older miatas with the b6 and mainly the bp were made for boost. they were diff versions of this motor used in the rally cars mazda used. search for mazda bpt gtr. thats the golden child basically. very hard to get a hold of. i was lucky enough to actually get one but they are def getting harder and harder to find.

heres some info on the bp motor specifically the gtr. http://members.ozemail.com.au/~kevmo/eng.htm

that is if the speed miata has a bp motor in it.

Nice car. I like the 2nd gen bodystyle much more than the new one.

Fun cars to drive, too!

My buddy had a badass one with FM hard pipe kit and intake, GFB BOV, and a custom turbo back with HFC. It was basically straight piped and sounded like it had a V8 in it... If you dont believe me straight pipe it and see ! With that hard pipe kit it would hit 4500-5000 RPM and then spike from 7psi to 10-12psi... it was like super VTEC! Great drift car too! He could hang that thing sideways like no ones business... Id love to get one as a project car!
