Los Angeles Auto Show Pics

Here are some pics I took in no particular order. I was kinda disappointed in the Mitsu section since there was NO info on the new Lancer or Evo X! She told me that they will be revealing more in Detroit. They had a RA Galant and an Evo SE. There was a concept RA suv, but nothnig too exciting. Oh yeah, and a base model Lancer ES(?)! The two Raider trucks they had looked alright...

Subaru had a nice section. All the exotics were freakin' awesome, especially Ferrari and Lamborghini. The vendor section was nice. Some dude was building 500hp Mini kits and running 10.8 in the 1/4 mile with stock internals! The 1001hp Bugatti was there and on sale for $1.5 million . I sat in a bunch of cars and have to say that a few of my favs that are somewhat affordable are the new Audi TT hardtop, Subaru Forester XT STI, Lotus Exige, BMW Z4 coupe, and Porsche Cayman S.

Cars that compete in the sub $25K that I liked were the Mazdaspeed3, Volvo C30 T5, GTI, and Mini S. I guess the Honda SI and Scion TC were OK, but the Dodge Caliber SRT 4, Chevy Cobalt SS, and new Nissan Sentra SE-R spec V were pretty f'ugly!

Guess we will have to wait for the Detroit show and the Michigan boys to get shots of the new Mitsu stuff.

Sounds like Mitsu is still using the same setup they had in January at the Detroit show. Yeah, all us Michigan folk are excited for this January and the Evo X unveiling Moved to other cars, as wel, due to Mitsu's lack of Lancer enthusiasm.

Well, the rep there told me it would be a very likely '08 model. He also showed me the new Subaru Performance factory upgrades. They had adjustable coilovers, cai, exhaust, etc, and best of all it wouldn't void warranty.

Very nice pictures. I was there this past Wednesday and didn't see the Subaru exhibit. I must have walked right passed it. There were lots of nice cars to see at the show.
