I really have no sympathy for drivers doing stupid things but I feel horrible when innocent bystanders are killd due to someones stupidity.

Jailed for driving a Neon?

Anyway, I agree that she should be jailed when she gets out of the hospital. I mean, street racing is one thing...But street racing with 3 passengers in the car is just....Dumb.

I'm still trying to find more pictures so that you can comprehend the amount of damage. It was talked about again this morning on the news and the police believe they were traveling between 80-100 MPH, struck something (Curb, perhaps) and went airborn. While in the air, the police believe the car struck the tree approximately eight feet off the ground, at which point it splint into two.

The worst part is that the other car that was "traveling" next to the wrecked car claimed they were not speeding, though the extent of damage is clearly not congruent with the posted speed limit of 25 MPH.

Lets all prey for the family of the ones that died, And also prey for a speedy recovery for the ones that were injured. I HOPE you all learn from this, and wont make the same mistake. Think before you put your foot to the floor.

Prey = something being hunted
Pray = religious communication with God

so sad. anyone traveling that fast in snowy/wet conditions had to know what would happen. no matter what car.

i usually get much more sad when it is innocent drivers who pay for the ignorance of others. but in this case, i'm just as sad. the tuner culture definitely has its fair share of casualities

This whole situation is sad. I just lost a good friend 2 weeks ago, and my best friend was driving.

I have no idea how i survived to this point.. When i was 16/17 i was an a hole behind the wheel... if owned what i own now.......

Best of luck with the families. This one goes on her parents though (what were they thinking giving a young kid that car in the first place) what was wrong with the SXT version?
