My Evo has a new garage buddy...
9sec9, Thanks for a great post man, awesome story.... Your brother is one awesome individual. Good luck with all the fast cars, I would immagine it's pretty hard to decide which to drive.
Gotta love those mopar colors.I,m a Mopar guy also.I,ve had a 63 dodge 440 for 17 years.I,m going to sell it this spring or summer and get the 08 or9 (whenever it comes out) new dodge challenger with the 6.1 hemi (425 hp. 6 spd.)Is your cuda a matching numbers hemi car? BTW God bless your brother.
Your brother has some serious skills. That is one sweet ride. I am not saying this to take away from evos but I would take that car over an evo anyday. Here in MN I see at least one evo a day, even in the winter. On the nicest summer days that would be a rare site.
9sec9: That was a awesome story and you have a brother that also thinks a lot of you thats for sure. It is great to have a close family isn't it. Good luck with Hemi Cuda.
That is a nice partner for your Evo. Treat it well. I guess I don't have to tell you that..
BTW nice build by Buschur on your IX.
Probably see you at some of the track events this year. Mikes my name.

Thanks Mike and the other posters. I am very proud of my Big Brother. I didn't understand the real meaning of 'Bro' until my brother explained it to me. When he was in 'Nam, he said that the guy who had your back when things got 'hot', became your 'Bro'. It was a special term to him and he now refers to me as his "Bro" as opposed to just his Brother.

Hey ALL, quick update. I went to the VA hospital today to pick my Brother up after another problem with his arteries. While taking him back to Tulsa (he lives just east of Tulsa), I had the chance to talk to him about this thread and asked him if he had seen it. He was very surprised and grateful for all of the comments made by the posters. Most of the Viet Nam vets remember coming home in the midst of protests and Hanoi Jane antics. Now, I think by seeing these posts, some of the protests and attitudes of the idiots become a distant past. He was very appreciative and expressed it. Thanks so much. tom

Those cars aren't cheap anymore. Great story too btw.

I LOVE hemi-cudas. Definitely a dream car. Means a lot that you have such a strong relationship with your brother, too.
