When i look at these pictures of the new Dodge Demon Concept i can't help but match up some of the lines to the new X. Maybe its a sign of whats the come with this whole Mitsu/Dodge calibration.... eeek

aww man. looking forward to the X but I have the feeling they ruined it.

 

You hit it dead on with that 3rd picture.
but at the same time you can say the evo X got some of its styling cues from the viper.
furthermore, the dodge mitsu collabo doesnt bother me whats so ever, wouldnt mind some viper dna in the new evo

 

This is EXACTLY the reason I got me the IX, last real Evo and no possability of regret.

 

Then again the same thing Happened with Lambo and as it turns out the german lambo is the best Lambo ever. I hope that this isn't the case

Dodge trying to hunt down Solstice/SKY and Miata sales? That would be a fun car to drive if it was rwd, and had the 2.4 turbo motor from the srt-4 in it.

 

Yeah but that Dodge is ugly. The Sky redline is one wicked sexy car. I still havent driven one yet because I cant find any in my area.

 

Laugh all you want, but at least it won't be sharing the Dodge Cailber platform like the EVO will. The Dodge Demon is rumored to offer 300 hp.

 

when the new r34 v spec 2 came out people were sceptical but it turned out to have one of the most advanced awd systems. as for the aluminum block on the evo x i dont know....aluminum blocks + high boost are know not to stand the test of time. wait and see.

 

It looks ok, but IMO, a 5.7 and a sub 40k price tag would be great instead of the 2.4, and that would really give Dodge a hold of a market area that I don't think theres any competition for from other manufacturers. If its using the 2.4 engine, its just like a convertible Tiburon.

 

yea man, that 3rd picture really does it for me. looks too similar with the headlights.
