Since I don't have my evo yet i had to take my M5 to the track couldn't take it no more waiting on my evo , ended up with a 12.8 114 mph, best time that night raced a M6 that night also my first time next week i'll see if i can get to 12.5 and better.

yea that how i get my best time of 12.8 with launch control a crappy 2800 rpm.

 

mmmm....... M5..... also, i doubt you have the 'real', F1 style, launch control as it would probably rev up to 6k or so. Like the M3s in europe got it with the SMG, but the US market did not due to liability issues. You have to go through a little sequence with the paddle shifters or something (sort of like the old nintendo cheat codes) to enable launch control. You were still limited to 10 launches on the european cars because it would destroy the clutch though.

 

Only the european models have the launches at 6k none of the us models but they say it suppose to hit 12.4 stock.
