just for the hell of it, if he has time let him test drive the new Subaru Legacy GT limited wagon, I just coaxed my dad into buying one for himself cuz at first he wanted a Volvo...ugh...so after the one test drive he was sold, plus the Legacy is less expensive than the S4 and most likely (as history shows it) will have far less stupid and annoying problems like most Audi/VWs have mostly with electrical systems, power windows, sunroofs, and lots of other non-critical yet very annoying crap
