I beleve they also use the "world engine" so they have the same chassis AND engine as the EVO.

10 months ago you were all saying how lame it was to be a Neon... And while I agree this is a big step-back, whoopti doo. People have opinions all over the chart, I think the 9s and the 10s are ugly as far as Evos go, I think 02-03 Lancers are fugly, the list goes on but it is all a matter of personal opinion.

This isn't entirely true. They are based off the same chassis and engine but are not identical. Each manufacturer does there own thing. At least that's what I heard.

Hahahaha so much misinformation. First of all, do you even know what it means when companies share platforms? If you don’t please don’t post your stupidity on here. When car manufacturers share platforms it simply means that they use the same door handles, a pillars things of that nature. Mitsubishi will never ever give the rights for the Evo to anyone. They might share looks but that is about it. SRT boys keep on dreaming. As far as the engine goes, they might use some parts but trust me when I say this. They are not and will never be the same. First of all Japan doesn’t need America or anyone else. So please stop with the lies.

If you ask yourself how do I know this? Well I work for Chrysler. I sell cars and I talk to representatives anytime I want to and I already went over issues like this a thousand times.
